PALASH: Tribal Theatre Group, IGNTU, Amarkanatak was formed to develop theatrical skills in the students of the University.
The Group tries its best to get the goal. It makes every effort to popularize the tribal culture.
The committee of PALASH: Tribal Theatre Group has been given below:

Since its inception in April 2014, the Group has given seven (07) performances. The First performance was a play, Godese@Gandhi.com by Asghar Wajahat. The play was performed on the 15th April 2014 as a part of the celebration of Ambedkar Jayanti. It performed Kanoon ka Shikanja written by Santosh Kumar Sonker as its second performance on 18th September 2014. Third performance was Janani, a play written by Santosh Kumar Sonker, on 16th November 2014. As fourth performance Narmada, a play by Santosh Kumar Sonker, was played on 27th January 2015 as a part of Narmada Jayanti Celebration at Amarkantak. The Group organized a three days theatre training programme (from 25th to 27th January 2015) conducted by Dr. Satyabrata Rout, Associate Professor, Dept of Theatre, and University of Hyderabad. As a part of World Tribal Confluence, the Group performed three play, Narmada, Itihaas Ka Gunah, and Janani , written by Santosh Kumar Sonker, on 15th, 17th and 18th March 2015 respectively.
